History

K&T Construction Co., Inc. started out building office and warehouse structures during the initial oil field boom of the early 1980s. In those earlier days, the size of the company fluctuated between two or three estimators and/or project managers. Larry Tomanek, an estimator/project manager grew with the company and eventually became partner in 1990 and President in 2000. His partner, Scott Strnadel, joined the company in June of 1998 as an estimator and project manager. A few years later, in December of 2004, he became part owner as the Secretary/Treasurer.

Over the past forty-five years, we have intentionally remained smaller though the projects have grown in complexity, size, and scope. Our management team prioritizes working closely with superintendents and personnel, owners, and architects. Lowering the over-head but increasing innovation and employee retention has created a competitive advantage that allows us to offer a customized product for a competitive price.

In the past 20 years, Larry and Scott have completed numerous projects including constructing for the private, industrial, medical, and educational sectors. Our vast portfolio of projects includes retail, oil field facilities, gymnasiums, emergency room facilities, chemical plants, religious buildings, and schools.

You can trust K&T Construction Co., Inc. to treat your construction project with the same care as we built our own headquarters in Victoria, TX.
